Lookup Exact Registry entry

Specify that a value entered into a Lookup List field must match exactly with an existing value in the Lookup List.

Usage

This Registry entry can be assigned to users and groups:

Value boolean

where:

column

is the name of a Lookup List column to which to apply Lookup Exact. By setting column to Default, Lookup Exact is applied to all Lookup Lists in a table.

boolean

is true (a strict comparison of values is enforced) or false (a strict comparison of values is not enforced).

Note: If this entry is not present, a setting of false is assumed.

This example applies Lookup Exact system wide:
