Printer Types Registry entry
Specifies the different types of printer available.
The Printer Types Registry entry specifies what types of printer are available on the network, e.g. Certificate, Receipt, Cheque. Printers are made available to users / groups with the Available Printers Registry entry. The Available Printers Registry entry associates a specific printer on the network with a type defined in the Printer Types Registry entry and makes it available to users / groups.
Note: Only one Printer Types Registry entry should exist.
Usage
This Registry entry is assigned at the system level only:

Although this entry is not required as it defaults to Default, there must be an Available Printers Registry entry that defines what the Default printers are. If additional printer types are required, these types should be added.
Note:
This entry is only required if there are special printers on the network, i.e. if the only type is Default, this entry is not required. However, if there are special printers and this entry is added, be sure to list Default as a type to be sure to cover all non-special printers available to users / groups.
